Everyone loves them! Why? It's because of the cosy, homely and poetic mood that these small faience houses, meant as closed tealight holders, from the URBANIA collection create in the interior. The series, inspired by well-known buildings, was designed by Bache and Bendix Beckerpays. When accompanied by tealight candles, the URBANIA houses cast a beautiful light through their windows and doors and that's why they make a perfect decoration of the window sill, bookcase, mantlepiece or chest of drawers.

The URBANIA TIVOLI GLASSALEN candle house designed in cooperation with Tivoli measures 14 centimetres in height and features hand-cut light holes that help to create a playful light, revealing the tealight candle’s glow. The design of this piece is reminiscent of Tivoli's Glass Hall - a historically distinctive octagonal building in Tivoli (Copenhagen, Denmark), where celebrities from all over the world used to perform through time.

Ceramic URBANIA houses make also great gifts and can easily stand alone, but they look especially well when in a larger collection, bringing cosiness to long December evenings and introducing a festive mood to your home long before the first Xmas star.
