This beautiful African dark wood is known as Dalbergia melanoxylon, or grenadill or false (Mozambican) ebony. The African translation is Sebra, hence the name of this series: Sebra Forged. The dark wooden handle looks warm and, together with the small red detail at the transition to the blade, also elegant.
