How to wash the pan in the dishwasher
- Remove any food residue before putting the pan in the dishwasher.
- If the pan has a removable handle, remove it. This makes the pan easier to fit in the dishwasher and also prevents damage to the handle.
- Place the pan in the lower basket where it will be exposed to a stronger flow of water.
- Always turn the pan upside down, or at least diagonally, to prevent water from sticking in it.
- Make sure the pan has plenty of room and no other utensils are touching it - this is to avoid scratching or damaging it.
- Choose mild or normal washing. Avoid intense and very hot cycles that could damage the surface of the pan, especially for non-stick pans.
- Choose gentle detergents from quality manufacturers.
- When the cycle is complete, inspect the pan and if there are drops of water on it, dry it thoroughly with a cloth.
- Don't forget about proper storage. The pan should have enough space (whether hanging, on a rack or in a kitchen cabinet) to avoid scratching it, and if that's not possible and you can't avoid stacking, rely on special padswhich protects the surface of the pan from damage.
