They pay tribute to the glasses from the original world-famous series of hand-blown glasses designed by Johann Willsberger for the Bavarian glassworks Spiegelau in the 1980s. Exactly the same complex shape form in the more affordable Anniversary variant, which translates to anniversary. An anniversary of beautiful design, elegance and uniqueness, but also an anniversary of modern technology and the art of translating handcrafted, sophisticated shapes into machine designs. Johann Willsberger is an Austrian photographer, author and journalist known primarily for his "food photography". Among other things, he put a unique face on Gourmet magazine (an international food and wine magazine), which he founded in 1976 together with Karin Krüger and Hans Heinrich Ziemann and which was one of the most influential food & wine publications in the German-speaking world until 2001. Willsberger designed the wine glass collection in 1982.

The German brand Spiegelau , with almost 500 years of crystal tradition, offers a wide range of wine glasses, tasting glasses, special glasses for specific types of spirits or soft drink glasses for everyday use. However, it is particularly well known for its unique beer glasses. The assortment also includes a range of decanters, pitchers and decanters.

The first-class quality of Spiegelau glasses is guaranteed by a combination of production processes and technical know-how. The glasses are also extremely durable: an independent laboratory guarantees that even after 1,500 cycles in the dishwasher, they remain free of scratches and damage and do not lose their shine.

Behind the long life and resistance to breakage of the glasses lies largely the so-called Platinum Glass process. During the production process, the molten glass is passed through plated tubes to remove any impurities and irregularities. The result of this relatively expensive technology is a glass that remarkably combines elegance, functionality and durability.

All Spiegelau glasses are made from lead-free crystal with a special composition that guarantees long durability, resistance to dishwasher and breakage, and also greater brilliance than glasses made from cheaper glass variants.
