Sauté pan, as the deep fryer is also called, is like a superman in the kitchen. It can do a lot:
- Choking: Roast your meat or vegetables until golden brown, baste, cover and then simmer without worrying about anything leaking out of the pan.
- Roasting: Meat, vegetables and especially the basics of sauces... in short, anything that needs a little juice.
- Cooking: Thick soups, porridges, risottos or pasta, just anything where we reduce the liquid to create a thick consistency.
- Frying and baking: Yes, it can do these tasks too, although the truth is that there are more specialised kitchen tools for both.
