Niche by the world-famous designer Zaha Hadid can quite easily be considered a domestic sculpture rather than a bowl. The composition of formally complex pieces results in a unique and zigzag effect. As soon as you see the Niche, you want to take it in your hands to feel what appears to be an attractive and velvety object by touch.
The Niche can be used as a centrepiece made up of 5 pieces, each of which can be used as a separate bowl for sweets or chocolate, or it can be used on a desk to store stationery and pens. Niche is made of black melamine and has a smooth, matte surface that makes the pieces pleasant to the touch and to the eye. The overall image of the composition, designed as an assembly guide, is located below the base along with the Officina Alessi logo and the designer's name.
