Samura knives are made from the finest Japanese and Swedish steel, hardened to 58 - 61 HRC. The blades have a Japanese shape and a gentle taper from the tip, which gives them fantastic cutting performance. Samura knives are sharpened at an angle of 17 degrees. This is more than Japanese knives, but less than European knives. The best modern materials are used for the handles: Micarta, G10, stabilized wood, plastic with a fine finish, Kraton and composites.

The serrated blade of the Samura Bamboo bread and pastry knife is ideal for foods with hard crusts or skins and soft insides. It is suitable for slicing pastries, but is also great for slicing fruit - e.g. citrus fruits and pineapple. The sharp serrated blade gently cuts through soft or juicy kernels without breaking the fruit. The 20 cm long blade is ideal for processing produce of any size. The unusual shape of the metal handle gives the knife an extremely stylish look.
